TRIATHLON PERFORMANCE COACHING - WHAT’S NOW AND WHAT’S NEXT

Whether you are a seasoned triathlete or just training to do your first triathlon, we perform time trials and assessments to find out where you are now and then our triathlon performance coaches will train you for what you want to do next. At age 37, in 12 months, I went from a complete, never competed in a triathlon before novice, to representing Australia in Olympic distance age group racing and becoming the top 20 in the world. Anything is possible! What’s next?

TRIATHLON TRAINING SHORTCUTS SWIM, RIDE AND RUN FASTER

I run a business and have 4 girls aged 8,6,4 and 2 years and still manage to train and be competitive. I can show you the short cuts I use to reduce your triathlon training time and increase your speed, endurance and power. In just 1 triathlon season I have reduced my 1500mtr swim time by 7 minutes, 40km bike by 15 minutes and 10km run by 8 minutes. My fastest Olympic distance tri to date is 1hr 57 mins 30 secs. Not elite but not bad in just 1 season. We have a tri coach to suit your level of fitness and skills.

ADVENTURE, MULTISPORT AND EXTREME RACES

Let’s get you racing! We want to book you into an event and get you competing. I enjoy all extreme sports and generally challenging myself. Some of these types of events I have done in the past 12 months include:

  • Kepler – 67km mountain run in New Zealand – 7 hours
  • 24 hour Triathlon – Sunshine Coast – rolling format 300swim/ 9km bike/ 3 km run
  • Brisbane to Noosa bike ride – 160km – 4hours 56 minutes
  • Bribie Island 100km off road adventure and multisport challenge – Queensland – swim/run/swim/kyak/bike/run/bike/kyak/run – 6hours 9 minutes
  • 300km in a day charity event – Coolum to Boreen point – missed a loop so only did 250 km’s - still not bad- thanks Simbo for sleeping in.
  • ½ Ironman – Gold Coast – 2km swim/ 90km bike/ 21 km run – 4hours 26 minutes

TRIATHLON ADDICTION

I started out just having a go at triathlons and very soon found myself fully addicted! They say you can expect improvements for the first 7 years in triathlons and I understand why. You swim faster, bike faster, run faster, upgrade all your equipment, learn that transitions is the 4th sport, then do all of this all over again, then again, then again! You never stop learning and hopefully you continue to find ways to improve your technique, equipment, planning, nutrition and energy. We are passionate about triathlons and just want to see you getting fit through your training and smiling because of the race you have just done.
